What a professional crew brings — and why crewed is the only way to charter at this level.
At this level, a yacht is only as good as the people aboard her. A professional crew is what turns a beautiful yacht into an extraordinary week — and it is the only way to charter at this standard.
A crewed sailing yacht comes with a complement chosen for their craft — a captain who knows the waters, a chef who cooks to your taste, and crew who anticipate rather than react. You bring nothing but yourselves; everything else is handled.
The itinerary, the anchorages, the dining, the pace — all of it is yours to set, and the crew’s to deliver. Before you arrive, they prepare the yacht around your preferences. While you’re aboard, the best crews make the complexity invisible; everything simply happens.
A crewed charter is not a step up from doing it yourself — it is a different thing entirely. The privacy, the service and the seamanship are what define a charter at this level. It is the only way we present yachts to our clients.
Because the crew handle everything — sailing, navigation, safety, service — no qualifications or experience are asked of you. You are free simply to enjoy the yacht and the sea.
Bareboat charter — chartering a yacht to sail yourself, without crew — is a different world, suited to qualified, experienced sailors on smaller yachts. It falls outside what we present, but if it’s what you’re looking for, contact us and we’ll share a shortlist of trusted operators.
Tell us your destination and dates and we’ll match you with crewed yachts and crews of the right calibre.
