Geoff Williams Captain British Geoff is a former professional squash player, competing for 12 years he achieved a British Championship as well as a career high ranking of 9th in the world. When it came time to hang up his racquet, he decided to pursue his second love of sailing. In his early career Geoff gained qualifications as a Master Yachtsman. His first job was for seven years, racing and captaining the S/Y Casaar in the Mediterranean. Since then, he has gone on to build over 20 years' experience as a freelance captain for private and charter yachts, racing and cruising the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas. Often retained year after year, his professionalism, dedication to the role and a welcoming personality all attribute to his longevity as an excellent charter captain. In particular, he has been in demand to oversee builds and refits, where his natural communication skills and technical knowledge has made him an asset in the shipyards. Rose Marie Hunt Stewardess British Prior to yachting Rose worked for over two decades in Spa and Beauty therapy, working in exclusive spa centres until promoted to Spa Manager of a 5 Star Hotel in Mallorca. She has an all-over holistic approach to happiness and wellbeing; loving swimming, good food, treatments, aromatherapy, as well being a qualified Yoga teacher. Her first passion is for food and in particular “cooking for smiles”. By 2010, her natural spirit of adventure pulled her towards yachting where she initially worked in various relief, delivery and seasonal positions on board sailing and Motor Yachts. Her natural hospitality and undoubted ability, both in the galley and the interior, has led her to being a sought-after steward and hostess on both private and charter yachts, sailing the Mediterranean and Caribbean. A versatile professional who has a great attitude and a good sense of humour, Rose loves the variety of life on board yachting and looks forward to meeting you. She will make it her mission to ensure this a standout trip for you and your guests. Jess Morgan Chef British Jess has two big passions in life, great food and the sea. Upon graduating from high school she worked as a Dinghy instructor, in the UK and in Greece before joining the yachting industry. Her youthful appearance is belied by her experience, having skippered sailing yachts in her own right in Croatian waters. Initially working as a deckhand / mate on sailing yachts she has sailed all around the Mediterranean, the Canaries and even completed her first Atlantic crossing. Her has a background in hospitality, having worked in exclusive chalets during the skiing season, started to shine through. Soon her fantastic cooking was being appreciated by crew and guests alike and in 2021 she took her first position as sole chef onboard providing an extensive selection of dishes. She went on to complete interns at two Michelin Starred restaurants (the L’Enclume and Heft, UK). Jess has an absolute passion for cooking and spends much of her free time researching and developing recipes, creating healthy, exciting, dishes from a range of different cuisines, especially fresh Mediterranean food and vibrant Asian flavours. When not exploring new tastes you can find her free diving, diving, hiking or sailing. Duncan Ursell Oliver Engineer Spanish Duncan has always been drawn to sailing, and with his practical mindset, it soon became clear that his future lay in naval engineering. After leaving school, he dedicated the next six years to gaining increasingly higher levels of vocational training as an engineer. By the time he graduated, Duncan had set his sights on working in the superyacht industry. and he quickly worked his way up through the ranks, from Assistant 2nd Engineer to Sole Engineer. His latest position as Engineer on a 37m sailing yacht has confirmed his love for sail and charters, and he is delighted to join the SEALEN B team. Alongside his mechanical know-how, Duncan is also a qualified Officer of the Watch and a PADI Dive Master. Always with a smile, Duncan is happy to lend a hand wherever needed on the yacht. Whether it’s checking systems, assisting with water toys or general maintenance, his energy and enthusiasm ensure that everything on board runs smoothly.
